Two Apps I Can’t Live Without??

If you are given the task to pick just two apps from your Android phone that you can’t live without, what would you choose? Hard right? I was given this task and I have to tell you, I am having the hardest time.

I think that I have decided that although I do enjoy the social and entertainment values of my phone, what I really depend on my phone for is making my life easier.  Besides my gmail calendar, which I absolutely cannot live without, I frequently depend on Evernote.  I love being able to upload notes, files, pictures and then have the ability to access them from where ever I am.  I recently took a picture of a Sangria recipe, uploaded it to Evernote, then used the picture to shop for the ingredients.  It is also a great tool to use when you need to access information such as passwords, social security numbers or a voice note to myself about an application I heard about from my favorite AndroidGuys podcast.

The second app that I use is PdaNet.  This application allows me to tether my computer to my Android phone so that I can surf the web using my phones 3G connection.  This is invaluable when you need a WiFi hotspot and can’t find one.

Of course I also have to give honorable mention to both the Nook and Kindle apps because I am often reading books on my Android phone to pass time while I am waiting around for my kids at practices, doctor’s appointments and so on and so on. :)

Has to be iReader (will convert almost any book file extension out there, making it my go to reader) and probably toggle settings (allows me to create profiles to suite my needs and then allows me to trigger them automatically in a huge variety of ways).
