How Many Android Gals??

I make good friend choices – most of my pals just so happen to be Android gals. And it’s becoming even more the case! According to Google’s President of Mobile, Andy Rubin, there are 500,000 Android devices activated every day.  That’s an awful big number.  Let’s put it into perspective.  According to the recent census, this would equate to the entire population of Wyoming activating an Android device.  Every day.  That’s enough to fill Yankee Stadium ten times over.  Every. Single. Day!

What I am wondering is how many of the 500,000 people activating each day are Android Gals.  Sure, we’ve seen plenty of them in the real world, but what percentage do you think they account for?  Is it still a lopsided, male dominated platform or are we forming a silent army of our own?

    I swear that I have seen just as many Android Gals in public as guys with Droids. Most of them have Evos, Optimus S or T, and the Incredibles!

    I am an Android gal. I have a Droid X. I’ve had it for a year now and if I didn’t have Verizon, I’d want the Photon 4G that will be on Sprint. I’m completely happy with what I have now though. :)

    I got my HTC Inspire 4G just about 4 months ago and it has barely left my hands since it left the box….I sometimes fall asleep with it in my hands…I’m not even joking. Yea….I would say I’m an Android Gal lol
