AndroidGal Steph Needs Your Help! EVO 3D or Not?

Finally! It is that time! I have been waiting and waiting (very patiently, I might add) for my next phone upgrade. In 2 long weeks, I will FINALLY get a new phone! I have been sporting this HTC Hero for 2 years and as much as I have loved her, it is time for her to rest!

I have decided, not that it was a hard decision, but I will stay with Sprint. They still seem to be the best option out there, in my opinion anyway. So the question I need answered from my fellow AndroidGals, is what phone to get?!

Anyone out there using the EVO 3D? I have been to my local Sprint store a few times and played around with it. I sure adore it! I do have to say, that I feel Sprint did a horrible job on a couple of the commercials for the phone. If you didn’t know better, the commercials seem to show the whole phone being 3Dish (i.e. the home-screen), when in reality, it is JUST the camera and video screens. Besides that, I think the phone itself is just amazing!

I’m hoping to get some feedback from anyone using the HTC EVO 3D! Let me know what you love about it and what you hate about it.

I’m really liking my EVO 3D slot and I’m not disappointed at all. It does seem to run hotter than my EVO 4G but I haven’t had any shutdown issue with it. Some apps aren’t scaled for it, kinda surprised by lack of developers response. GPS gave me issues, but GPS Test app fixed that for me. Sometimes apps from sd card icons disappear, but Fast Reboot fixes that.
Pluses are much faster streaming and browsing, plenty of room for apps, I have 800 mb left with every app plus more I had on my EVO 4G.

I’m in the same boat as you. My Hero is up for replacement August 2, and the 3D is my current pick (if the Galaxy S II gets announced I might back pedal).

Well…my upgrade was due August 1st, I went to my local sprint store this weekend and they went ahead and let me have my upgrade!! I now have my 3D in hand!! I am sooo happy with it too!

Evo 3D all the way. really the only other choice would be the upcoming Motorola Photon 4G, but HTC makes the best hardware out there!

EVO 3D is definately the way to go.
I went from a HTC Hero, to a launch day HTC EVO 4G, to a Samsung EPIC, and now a launch day HTC EVO 3D. I am extremely happy.
