Hi Gals! When I get a new phone, there are a few things I like to do to it. I know we all do something different, and you’ve got your favorite apps that make you go all tingly, but I’d like to share with you the 5 apps I install when I get a new phone.
#1: VTL.Launcher
I hate app drawers. It reminds me of the junk drawer at home, and everybody’s got one, that you put all those little things with ONE use and when you need it, it’s buried beneath so many other things that it takes you an hour to find it. I don’t like junk drawers, and I don’t like to have one on my phone. I also like to have a clean home-screen free from a lot of widgets. So for all this I install an app called VTL launcher. It makes the apps you need readily available! They show up as a scroll screen on the edges of your desktops. You can personalize it to show up on the left, right, and bottom if you like. This way you can save your junk drawer for all that bloatware you never use.
#2: Swift Keyboard
I’ve been foolin’ around with different keyboards lately, and I’ll make a video review later comparing all of them, but at the moment I’m really enjoying swift keyboard. I’ve used nothing but Smart Keyboard in the past, but I’m having a hard time choosing between the two. I definitely think everyone should toss the stock on-screen keyboard aside as soon as you get a new phone.
#3: Color Note
I have a hard time remembering things. I downloaded this app to help me remember my number, or important events coming up. Or even just a simple grocery list. It works like a post-it note right on your home-screen. It has lots of colors for personalization, and it shows up as a widget right on your desktop.
#4: Super Manager
This is basically an app killer on crack. It’s got many other features including a File Explorer that’s also a Root explorer. Task Manager to only kill certain apps instead of all of them. (This is the biggest problem with app killers. You can’t target certain apps to kill.) APK Manager, and an APP protector that lets you lock in all your personalized apps. Those are just a few among many features, so check it out for yourself.
This is the most intuitive mobile browser I’ve tried. Most people are right handed, and will be holding their mobile device with their right hand. Just as with VTL launcher, it allows you to be able to control everything starting with your right thumb It’s also got two bars at the top, one for Google searches, and one for URLs.
