hi-256-4-34fee181fbc19f86feeca9d1e5a8d32612ceffa1

If you know me then you know that I am a super-organized freakoid.  I can’t help it, its just my nature.  I’m sure plenty of you Gals out there are the same way. Right? Given the capabilities of my Android phone, I figured there had to be a great app to help me out.  After searching the market for what seemed liked FOREVER, I came across an amazing organization app, Cozi Family Organizer.

Cozi truly keeps your family connected; Whether you are on your phone or on the computer, Cozi makes it easy to stay organized.

Check out the key features:

SHARED FAMILY CALENDAR
A centralized family calendar you can manage right from your phone. Add an appointment and it uploads to your Cozi account so everyone can see it. Set reminders that are sent by text or email so no one misses soccer practice or an important appointment.

SHARED SHOPPING LISTS

Shared grocery lists the whole family can access from wherever they are. Retrieve them when you’re at the grocery store—easily cross off items and add new ones while you shop. No more coming home with everything but the one thing you needed.

SHARED TO DO LISTS

Create a shared to do list or an individual chore list. You’ll have your to do items right there in your pocket to remind yourself. You can even email lists to a family member to remind them.

FAMILY JOURNAL

Jot down a special moment and add a photo from your gallery, or take a new one—all while you’re on the move. Cozi’s journal is designed especially for busy families, so it’s quick and easy to keep favorite memories you can remember again and again.

WIDGETS

Home screen widgets give you quick access to your family calendar, shopping lists or to do lists. Choose from small and large widget sizes to customize your at-a-glance view.

Cozi Family Organizer is easy to use and simple to share between your family members.  It is convenient to sign in through the computer and share your appointments, chores and lists for a fast update. There is a Cozi Lite version for Android phones running 2.0 or below. However, if your device is running 2.1 or higher there is a full-featured app Cozi Family Organizer . While both of these are free in the Android Market, Amazon does offer a paid version. The images shown above are from the paid Amazon version.  I found it to be worth every penny and suspect you will as well.  Please download and check out the app- it is simply WONDERFUL!

I’d like to hear what app(s) you are using to stay organized.  Have you come across one that you’d like to share with us?  Leave a comment below!

My name is Stephanie Klicpera and I am a 28 year old Gal from NY. I have an undying passion for Google and Android because of all the awesome things they have to offer. I currently own a rooted HTC Thunderbolt and do my best to make it as girly as possible. If you have a rooted Thunderbolt like me, you can also girly up your phone by using one of the themes named after me. Just look out for any theme with "Cutee" in the theme name.I started writing for AndroidGals in March of 2011 and I am loving it! I decided to get involved because I think it's important for more of us gals to learn how to utilize our Android devices and get the most out of them. I am involved in a new "girly project" over at www.teambamf.net to further educate what Android can do for us gals. To stay posted follow me on Twitter @Androidcutee

I love cozi. I have the app on my home computer and have to download it on my new LG. I used the journal to paste recipes i found online using the laptop then take the phone into the kitchen and get cooking. I can access it easily and follow along.

I use the shopping list and so does my husband so I never have to ask “did you get [......] and the grocery store?” I often find my self saying “its on the cozi” if he asks why we don’t’ have something in the fridge or he will ask me “did you update the cozi?” Every family can use this app its great!
