Double Review: Go SMS Pro and Go Weather

I had briefly mentioned in a quick post last week how amazing Go SMS Pro and Go Weather are. They were created by the GO Dev Team. Well, I loved them so much that I decided to do a full review.

GO SMS Pro is my favorite messaging app by far. With so many themes and plug-ins to choose from, I never get bored. All these themes are free in the Market, so you won’t be breaking the bank. Check out some screenshots below.

Go SMS Pro also has a few different widgets to choose from, and a nifty pop up notification box. The widget allows you to scroll through the different message threads without opening the app, and you can even set what you want to see, such as read or unread messages. Of course, you can also customize the notifications sounds and methods to receive messages to you heart’s desire.

Go Weather is a great weather app that is visually exciting and also comes with many customization features. From default themes, to live wallpapers, and videos, there are many ways to make your weather center your own.

With Go Weather, you can set the update interval times, choose from several different widgets, from small to large, and also change the theme of the widget. These themes are also free to download, and can be found in the Go Weather settings menu under Themes.

I need to warn you guys about this go sms pro app. It looks nice and pretty, however, it sometimes texts other people even if it stated that it went through to the person you want to text. This happened to me twice and just one today. At first, I thought I was going crazy or I maybe add the number in wrong but nope it actually texted someone else. So I text my brother but my friend got it. But when I look on my brother’s text box with his name, it said it went through to him. But when I “view details” in my brother’s text box, it was a different number (to my friend’s number). Very strange. And so my friend text me and told me I text the wrong person although the text box it went through. So Becareful! especially if you are texting about someone, it might accidently send it to someone you don’t want to know about. I have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus Prime. I uninstalled it because I don’t ever want to make that mistake of texting someone and it goes to someone else, although I love the Pink Theme!!! Too scary. Please fix it and I’ll come back!!!!
