I’m always bookmarking sites for future reference. After losing my bookmarks after a wipe, I knew I needed a way to save them. After trying several different apps, I ended up getting Bookmarks Sort and Backup by Happy Droid. This simple application does exactly what it name says: sorts your bookmarks in alphabetical order and saves to the sdcard.
As you see from the picture, it’s very simple to use, with backup, restore and sort functions. Yes, you can sort in the stock browser, but I use Skyfire and that option isn’t available. There’s also an option in settings to auto save your bookmarks. So even if you don’t use the sort function at all, you can still save your bookmarks automatically to the sdcard.
There’s a free version with ads in the Android Market and a paid version with out ads for $1.49. So, do you want to keep all the bookmarks you have saved? Try Bookmarks Sort and Backup and make recovery easy.
Let us know if it has saved you from lost data!
