Have you ever found yourself stranded without an umbrella when you’re out on a walk, or need to take a different route to avoid a vicious storm? I sure have, but thanks to the Rainy Days app by HugoVisser, I can be more prepared when dealing with the changing weather.

The app only shows rain on radar; however, when paired with text notification warnings from your local weather station, you can get a pretty good picture of what is going on around you. Rainy Days is free, but if you’d like an ad free experience you can upgrade to the pro version for just $0.99.

You’ll want to have this pocket radar on you at all times, and i’ts pretty cool to show your friends. The weather won’t be likely to catch you off guard when you’ve got the Rainy Days app.
