If you’re a working mom like myself, you appreciate the value of having a shopper rewards card. I personally have 30 of them sitting in my wallet, and struggle to look for them every time I am at a participating store. Even when I was new to the app world, I downloaded Key Ring, and I would forget that I even had it. Most stores at the time and still to this day were not accepting your phone as your rewards card, and required to see or swipe your actual card.
When I received my new Nexus S a few months ago, I decided to once again download the Key Ring app and add all my rewards cards. A lot has changed since the first time I downloaded Key Ring. More stores been added to the participating list, making it easier to find your store, while still having the option to add a store that is not currently on their list and submit it to Key Ring so they can add it to their database. The best feature yet is the implementation of alerts of any special offers your rewards card store is advertising. It updates new offers each time you open the app.
My favorite feature is that you can now share your rewards card. This works perfectly for my husband and I, since it prevents him from having to sign up for a separate card. He can use it even when I’m not with him (I can’t count the times he’s left the house without taking the cards with him).
