Over here at AndroidGals, we like to look our best. By this, we mean that our phones have to be as cute as possible. Just ask AndroidCutee, she is the queen of Thuderbolt customization!
It has been over a year since I made the switch to my beloved Android. I have spent the past 16 months with my EVO, trying to get her as pink as possible. It’s pretty normal for someone to see a screenshot of my phone, and back away because of an overload of pink. Even I look back at some of my older posts and wonder what I was thinking.
But in my defence, there was no such thing as a CM7 Theme Chooser back then. We were lucky to be able to change our notification bar color with CM6!
With that being said, let me introduce you to Chroma (Pink). Developed/Designed by Prash D. The original version of Chroma has been out for quite some time, and is also a great theme to have on your device. It’s based mostly in a blue/red mood. However, Chroma (Pink) is a mix between a retro blue, and of course pink.
Most themes in the Android Market will be pretty basic, with the main focus on a specific color. Most of the time, I have found that the “main color” you purchase a theme for won’t even match through out the Android OS. The color is shades off and sometimes will be a pink/purple mismatch, which can’t possibly be on purpose.
This is why I love Chroma (Pink) so much. ALL of the pinks match, and not everything is just pink. This theme has a retro feel to it, and it’s just wonderful! Check out the pictures below for a more in-depth look!
Chroma (Pink) currently has about 1000+ images themed. That is a lot of hard and awesome work! Thanks Prash!
This theme is only available for devices running custom roms that uses the T-Mobile/CM7 theme engine. It also requires Android 2.2 and up. The price is $1.29, and with the level of customization it is totally worth it.
Download it today to get your Android looking fabulous!
