As a fan of Yahoo and their games like Text Twist, I’m always looking to find like-minded games on Android. I just found a very interesting game called Spellathon. It was developed by Nivedita Arora, and gosh do I just already love it! This game has a twist though. It’s not what you expect.
Okay, in this game you have seven letters that are arranged in a hexagon. You need to see how many words you can make with those letters. Remember how I mentioned a twist right? Well here it is. That letter that’s in the middle of the hexagon, you have to use that in Every word. Yep! It is not easy! Believe me I know, and let me share why with you! It is especially difficult if it’s the letter “U”. Boy oh boy, it can be frustrating. I’ve skipped two games because of that, but I still enjoy playing.
This is a great game to challenge your mind, and also a great time killer. Your score is based on how many words you have made and the length of those words. The cool thing about this game is, you can set the word level. Check out the settings and from there you can choose the number of words to be guessed. You can also share your game score with any social networking site; such as Google+ or Facebook.
