We all know who Zynga is right? You know, the maker of our favorite word puzzle game Words With Friends. So I am sure you have heard about their newest game, Hanging With Friends. When I first heard about this game, I wasn’t so excited. I mean the image of the game Hangman came to my mind. Don’t ask me why either, it just did.So, when my iPhone buddies bragged about it, it somewhat piqued my curiosity. Of course, I just thought they were trying to find something to brag about with their phones. Well, sad to say when Android got the game, I downloaded it quickly. I’m glad I did. It’s a fun game that I greatly enjoy with my friends.
Now here’s what this game is about. After you get your info set up and avatar chosen, you will see it hanging by five balloons. Ok, then you and your friend try to stump each other with words. Meaning, you will see two rows of letters to choose from. Come up with a word, you think your buddy won’t guess at easily. Say you pick Blending, He/She has to guess from the letter box, which letters you have chosen. It somewhat reminds me Wheel Of Fortune in that aspect.
After you send your word to your buddy, then they get to choose their word for you. With every word you fail at guessing at, a balloon pops. Last person with the popped balloon loses and falls in volcano larva. Kind of sadistic isn’t it? It’s all great fun though. Now just like with Words With Friends, you can play your Facebook friends, contacts or some random person.
This game is in the Android market for free. I haven’t been able to find it there for my tablet, so it seems to be just for phones for now. Go check it out, and let us know what kind of great fun you have playing it by leaving a comment below.
