I recently came across a really cool driving app that I believe it will come in handy during the holidays. This little thing does everything! It’s the neatest driving app I’ve come across! It’s called iOnRoad and it’s by Picitup.

What this totally cool app does is warn you of possible accidents. For this to work right,you need a windshield mount for your phone. This will serve as GPS, so it can safely navigate you to your destination. It has the neatest menu. It shows current temp and how fast the wind is blowing. Compass shows the direction you are going. If you need to quickly call someone,you can push the phone key. That will take you to  your contacts so you can see who you need to call. It has a music key, to play all your music you have stored via SD card or cloud.

Now I mentioned a warning of possible accidents right? This will show you just how many seconds the car in front of you is, from you.  Say it looks far, but in reality it may be just a scant 2 seconds away from you. It will highlight the distance in three colors. Green means you’re at a safe distance. Yellow means  you need to be careful and watch your speed. Of course I am sure you know that Red means you are in danger of crashing into the car in front of you. When you reach the Yellow  Careful area, an alarm will beep to alert you . When you hit the Red danger zone, a different alarm will sound off as well, that way you  don’t have to constantly look at the app.

Now you still have to watch how you drive and how others drive. This app will just help assist you in avoiding dangerous fender benders.
