Evernote tossed their hat in the ring of great food-related apps for Android yesterday, announcing Evernote Food. Tied directly into the larger Evernote experience, the app lets users snap photos of food, restaurants, and people, add notes, save locations, and more.
Should you take a bunch of pictures from a new place that everyone has to try, you can share the details across social networks and email. The location awareness can pull in exact coordinates or addresses and even point your buddies to the new hotspot. There are actually a ton of ways one might use Evernote Food, including documenting home cooking, saving receipts, and storing copies of recipes.
If you’re relatively new to Android and want to check out other great food-related apps, you’re in luck. Here’s a couple of our favorites from Google Play to get you moving in the right direction!
What apps are you using for keeping track of food, restaurants, or recipes?
